seastuff The story of The World Below

In another world, in another time, creatures lived together in
perfect harmony in an underwater paradise. Blue and Green were the
colors of the water, and of the kingdoms that lived side by side in
peace. The monarchs of the Blue and the Green Kingdoms were dutiful
and respectful stewards and rulers: suspicion and jealousy ,
dominance and monopoly were as foreign as earth and constellation.
Or so it seemed, until the day the water changed.

The Opera

The World Below is an environmental fable inspired by the book of the
same name, written by
D. Michael Tomkins. This two-act children’s
opera, sung and performed by a cast of dozens--chiefly children, with
a number of adult leads--features exotic, memorable characters and
moments of comedy, suspense and improbable romance, all set in a
satisfying and moving tale with a message of courage and hope.
